An entire room in the Haunted Mansion is dedicated to Madame Leota in the Crystal Ball. Though most people use front projection and hide the projector, I use rear projection to prevent any light reflections on the ball and increase the "wow" factor. Building her is tricky, and much like building a ship in a bottle, the results are fantastic!
Another advantage is that you do not need to setup barriers or places to hide the projector in front. It is fun to watch the audience try and figure out how the effect is done. Don't tell them! |

You supply the audio system because needs vary from venue to venue. This effect is especially difficult to build, so please allow time for construction.
I have found that the best amp/speaker combination is the ION Tailgater. It is inexpensive, and will easily provide sufficient audio playback, even over the crowd. |
